Bulut Bagci

Bulut Bağcı is a foresighted, success-oriented businessman. As an entrepreneur, he is talented to see the short-comings in industries and fills the gaps with successful strategies. He was born in 1985. He graduated from Tourism Administration department with an honors degree at one of the most prestigious universities of Turkey, Boğaziçi University, Istanbul in 2009. He had a short-term education at Harvard Business School. After graduation, he received management trainees at Kempinski, Hilton, and Marriott Hotel Groups. He has had more than 10 years of work experience in many non-governmental organizations both in the national and international arena and over 10 years of experience in tourism industry. For being an experienced Tourism administrator at his young age, he saw the absence of an international tourism conference that industry leaders gather together to discuss the future of the tourism industry. Accordingly, he started the World Tourism Forum Institute as the founder and president of the institution in 2010. In spite of being very young, World Tourism Forum Institute has received a significant potential and started to be mentioned as the Davos of the international tourism industry. Since 2010, he has been in close relationships with world politics and tourism leaders. As Bulut Bağcı added investment, marketing, and human resources solutions besides the events in host countries, he decided that “the World is not enough” for World Tourism Forum Institute anymore! Accordingly he decided to change institution’s event names into Global Tourism Forum to reflect its more embracing role in the global tourism market. Global Tourism Forum will be organized several times a year, under the auspices of national governments of numerous countries, in global centers around the world, bringing together world politics and tourism leaders and tourism industry representatives. Each meeting of the Global Tourism Forum will make an overwhelming impression and set the trends in the tourism industry just like before. As the president of the World Tourism Forum Institute, Bulut Bağcı was the head of international tourism events such as Global Meeting 2015, Mediterranean Summit 2015, Global Meeting 2016, Mediterranean Meeting 2016, Russia Summit 2017, Global Meeting 2017, Africa Summit 2017, and Angola 2019. Apart from all these events, he is also the founder and head person of such initiatives as Tourism 20, Tourism CEO Club, E-Gen Influencers Event, and World Tourism Awards. Starting from 2020, his institution’s events will be mentioned as Global Tourism Forum and new organizations will be held under the name of Global Tourism Forum. As a member of multiple non-executive boards, he is often invited as a guest speaker to various international events, conferences and gives speeches on future planning and strategies regarding international tourism.
